The Niagara River isn’t really a river. It’s a straight, the joiner of two great bodies of water. But both sides of our Frontier have had three centuries packed with history, and at least two centuries of famous personalities still remembered in ghostly report. The upstate’s premier paranormalist, the author and storyteller Mason Winfield, takes us on a colorful journey through the history, folklore, and experience on both sides of the Niagara. “Great Spirits of the Niagara” doesn’t promise to be scary. The presentation hopes to be both gripping and informative–and to involve us more closely in our own regional history.
