SPIRIT WAY PROJECT
Full Moon Monday Writers
After the completion of his most recent book (The WHISTLERS: A Paranormal Intrigue), Mason’s schedule has cleared. The research organization Spirit Way Project’s Full Moon Monday Writers’ Group recommences on several Mondays in 2017 at 7 PM.
We are scheduled to meet in Suite 240 of the Roycroft Print Shop at 21 S. Grove Street, East Aurora, but we may well relocate to the Salon of the Roycroft Inn or some other site on the Roycroft Campus. Signs will be posted at the Print Shop every scheduled meeting!
Writers hoping to share their work should bring five copies of 1.5 pages of poetry or prose, focused on mystical, spiritual, supernatural, and intuitive subjects. We will seldom have time to address longer pieces, although the mechanics of effective writing can usually be demonstrated in short pieces. This series is not just for writers who hope to publish but also for ones who want to nurture their own inner growth through the exercise of inspiration that writing can be.
Led by Mason Winfield, author of Shadows of the Western Door, Iroquois Supernatural, The WHISTLERS: A Paranormal Intrigue, and nine other books. Donations are appreciated.
For 2017, we are going to try something different at the end of each session: A short lyrical writing experience focused on the theme of the month’s moon. We will each try to write an aisling, a specialized type of Gaelic vision-lyric, which can be kept personal or offered for reading at a later session. All who wish to experience this should bring writing materials as well.
